Adventure 02: Broken Spire Keep

Adventure Details
The adventurers are joined by the mage Garet Jax and set out the following morning with Krupier to find the missing werebear. They follow the brook all day without encountering any sign of him. They rest up theat night and are attacked by 11 orcs which they overcome.
On the orc leader's body the find part of an adventuer's dairy that explins about where a treasure is located.

About mid morning the following day they locate the injured werebear (he had a run in with the orcs) and they try to sleep him (it doesn't work). So they rig up several traps using nets they'd borrowed off Krupier (they set them up so that when the bear steps on them the trap is sprung and the bear is catapulted into the air and caught).

Piskie volunteers to lure the bear out and the ruse works, the enraged bear chases her and she flits off down the trial. Hon is too quick with the first net and the bear avoids it but succeeds with the second trpa and the werebear is caught. Garet uses a cure light wounds to sooth it and soon the creature is calmed and eventually able to return to human form. Krupier thanks the party and leads them back to his farm.

Hon and Serena head back to Milborne where they gain healing from Semheis then they head back to the farm where Krupier, true to his word leads them into the woods in search of Broken spire Keep.

Late afternoon on the second day the reach the keep and scout it. When it is dark Piskie and Garet scale the outer wall and creep onto the only tower (where they had spotted a guard). Piskie creeps up and backstabs the guard (a critical!) and Garet finishes him off.

Meanwhile Hon and Serena have donned their ninja garb and head over the walls, managing to kill a couple of guards dogs in the process. The adventurers slip into the keep and have a look around. Hon and Serena eventually manage to alert the complex and all hell breaks loose. All the adventuers converge on the main hall and a battle royal erupts between the orc guards, a few human mercenaries and the Winter Wolves. The tide turns when Ranfuches arrives and manages to hold Serena and cause fear in Piskie. Not long after Hon falls to a flurry of blows from the last orc but just then Garet and Krupier arrive to swing the balance back in the PCs favour. The evil cleric retreats as does the party to quickly lick their wounds.

Using healing potions gained from Semheis they heal up and continue into the complex. They are soon ambushed by the last survivors in the dungens (which includes "Ran") and Serena is once again hled. Eventually the poarty is victorious and the evil cleric and his undead and orcish allies are overcome so they explore the rest of the dungeon and take all the loot that they can find.
